Citrus Blossom

Natural, believable, touching, passionate, full of integrity, wit and charm.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sarah is a natural born writer, this book touches the heart of innocence and honesty of passion, like a human chemistry lab with all its fascinating explosions and splitting of atoms!

An excellent modern fast moving story, very engaging and difficult to put down. I can't help thinking you have a 'high street' product on your hands.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I found this book compulsive reading, I couldn't put it down. It's excellent for a first novel, I can't wait for the next one!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The characters are very well written. I was really intrigued to see how the story played out! The locations and character backgrounds added great depth to the story. A great read!

Just to let you know, I have read your book. Normally not the style of reading for me, but I must say it was an easy read and I could not put it down. I thoroughly enjoyed it. So well done, am looking forward to reading your other books too.

Read Citrus Blossom over and over again somewhere in South Africa, what a book!! Great work.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ It seems to me that Olivia has a jealousy problem. Not sure their relationship can survive that. Anyway I enjoyed it very much. I'm eager to read the next novel.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Connecting on a deep human, heart warming level.

After reading Sarah's first book Citrus Blossom, I was really looking forward to reading this one. I love her style of writing, which is not only easy to read but allows you to connect and relate to the characters on a deeply human level. The quality of her writing is refreshingly honest and heart warming.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Great Read!!

This was a great read I love the relationship between Rachel and Lea I didn't know this was your second book can't wait to read the first book to get to know Olivia and Jasmine looking forward to your third book hope it's soon.

I've only just finished reading Sarah Pond's new novel, Hibiscus, and have a feeling of well being for having done so because the story is so comforting and warming. I also read Citrus Blossom, her previous book, and this new work is a natural follow on from her first creative adventure.

The roller coaster ride of emotions that she puts her readers through always ends with both feet back on terra firma but has the satisfying effect of having experienced a truly hectic ride. As with Citrus Blossom, the book could be said to have concluded almost halfway through but that’s just the beginning as misunderstandings take over from common sense, and the characters take themselves through psychological torture before they finally find each other again. The “higher love” or true love is underlined with a strong physical attraction, which makes the various mishaps even more upsetting. The result is that the next page must be read making the whole presentation much more animated in the mind’s eye, and in such a way that it’s easy to picture it as a Richard Curtis film.

There is also a health warning here and that’s that if you read one of Sarah Pond’s novels, you’ll want to read them all, and look forward to the next.

Happy reading!
